Hi, there!

I’m Heather.

I’m a small-town published photographer turned writer, passionately pursuing Jesus and
the calling He has on my life.....

I’m an advocate for all things ministry work and mental health wellness. I am the wife to a brilliant entrepreneur and mother to two littles trying to gracefully navigate the joys and struggles that come with both titles.

It took the year 2020 to bring me to a place of total surrender, refining every nook and cranny of my being, all for the sake of truly beginning the journey to a different calling on my life.

God walked me through ministry school, undergrad to receive a degree in Psychology, build and play out a successful photography business – all to bring me to this moment of the ultimate surrender and faith for the “bigger picture”.

You see, my friend, you are the mission because God truly cares so much about YOU and the struggles and details of your life.

My hope is that through my own strongholds and triumphs, I can be a light and resource to help YOU walk through your own.

There is honestly nothing great about me…but there is something magnificent about Him.

He cares so deeply for us, and the hardships we face are real and raw.
You are not alone. There’s power in community, and I am so here for it!
Let’s celebrate our wins, and walk through our struggles together.

at a glance…

first off…

We are homebodies who love to travel out of our camper and just “be” in community with our people and church family.

We value fellowship because just as our home church states, “We can’t do life alone”.
I invite you today to do life with me, here, refining one another to become better than we were yesterday.

broken,
but redeemed

I deal with anxiety more than I’d like to admit.
(It’s been this little dance of mine for 15 years)

God has done so much for me in that timeframe, and my hope is to share what He has done in me and how He can help YOU today in this season.
I pray you don’t hold me up on this pedestal, but that you see me as on the same level ground as you, faithfully walking out the next step.
There is peace to be found, friend.
There is truth to be discovered in His word and resources to tap into to acquire it. You got this!

do not despise…

…small beginnings. Ya’ll.
This is ground zero for me.
Just as I created and built a successful photography business 8 years ago, here I am again starting from scratch.
It’s scary. Exciting.
Completely unknown territory.

But it’s good. So, so good.
God teaches us to not despise small beginnings. Friend, I am telling YOU not to despise the small step you may be taking to start something new. Get out there and be bold! I’ll be your cheerleader in the background.

We are redeemed and set free, permitted to flourish in His abundant grace.

Let’s work together
